Mrs. Barbie Schaefer is the Vice President of Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits at Orion First Financial, LLC. She manages Orion’s employee benefits and compensation duties while also administering documentation requirements for all new and existing team members. Barbie is also a founder of Orion so has been with the organization since its inception in 2001.

Barbie brings exceptional knowledge to her role through years of administrative and human resource experience. She is a highly regarded member of Orion through her kind approach and helpful nature.

Barbie successfully splits her time between Orion’s Arizona and Washington-state locations and enjoys traveling with friends and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Ms. Kaelyn Green is the Vice President of Client Services at Orion First Financial, LLC. She is responsible for the management of client relationships for both new and existing clients. Kaelyn plays a pivotal role in the client experience and in doing so, she remains steadfast in her commitment to understanding the needs, goals, and growth potential of every client.

Kaelyn has worked in the equipment finance industry since 2006 and in doing so, has had the opportunity to contribute to several areas within Orion that include customer service, collections, funding, and client services.

In 2021, Kaelyn became a CLFP (Certified Lease & Finance Professional), and she enjoys participating in a number of networking events that support the equipment finance and leasing industry.

Kaelyn resides in the Tacoma, Washington area and enjoys spending time with her son, family, and friends.

Mr. Matt Larson is the Vice President of Customer Service at Orion First Financial, LLC. He is responsible for the leadership and success of the customer experience and in doing so, maintains a high-mindedness for our client interests as well. Matt brings tremendous management and customer relations experience to Orion through an impressive 21-year career in the call center, client services, and collections industries.

Furthermore, Matt maintains an unwavering commitment to procedural enhancements that relate to customer review processes that ensure the highest customer service standards are conveyed with every action.

Matt attended Washington State University and is a member of the Washington Collectors Association while maintaining certifications related to FDCPA and ACA.

He is an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting and fishing; and relishes his summer days spent with family and friends in the Puget Sound Hood Canal region.

Mrs. Kristin Orvis is the Vice President of Commercial Collections at Orion First Financial, LLC. Kristin is tasked with asset management and with the remarketing of such assets on behalf of clients. She possesses extensive knowledge in areas of repossession and equipment valuation.

Kristin first began her career in the consumer collection industry and operated in several different capacities relating to automotive loans. She quickly became a Senior Collector with a prominent automotive lender and then proceeded to become a Regional Collections Manager for a national title loan company. Prior to joining Orion, she also worked for a national recovery agency which further deepened her repossession and asset location skillset.

Kristin now leads an impressive team of commercial collectors and is a critical leader within the greater Portfolio Management team.

She resides in Phoenix, Arizona, and enjoys tackling a multitude of DIY home projects while spending time with her family and pets.

Ms. Shannon Prange is the Vice President of Portfolio Management at Orion First Financial, LLC. She is responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the collections team, collection activities, and overall collection performance.

Shannon joined Orion in 2017, and in doing so brought a wealth of collections and management experience through her nearly 3 decades of credit and collections tenure. Equipped with a strong understanding of the equipment and finance industry, Shannon is well-versed in all aspects of portfolio management and in doing so, understands the needs of clients and borrowers alike.

Additionally, Shannon obtained her CFLP (Certified Lease & Finance Professional) in 2021 and she continues to be an ardent supporter of the educational growth that it affords professionals of the equipment and finance industry.

Shannon resides in Enumclaw, Washington. She is an enthusiastic Seahawks fan and enjoys caring for her dogs and cats, wine tasting, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Mr. Terry Wood is the Vice President of Portfolio Management with Orion First Financial, LLC. As Vice President of Portfolio Management, Terry is responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the collections team, collection activities, and overall collection performance.

With nearly 40 years in the equipment finance and leasing industry, he brings tremendous professional experience and operational insight to Orion. Terry obtained his CLFP (Certified Lease & Finance Professional) in 1998 and has been a valued member of the Orion organization since 2006. Prior to joining Orion, Terry held the position of Vice President of Business Development and Operations for one of the Nation’s leading Recovery and Remarketing firms and has also held the role of Assistant Vice President of Portfolio Services & Asset Management for one of the Nation’s larger small-ticket Commercial Leasing companies.

Since joining Orion, he has held prior positions in collections, underwriting, compliance, and asset & portfolio management.

Terry resides in the Tacoma, Washington area and enjoys spending quality time with his five daughters and five grandchildren as well as playing guitar, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
